Operations Manager / Precast Concrete

 

Livin Modular specialise in a patented concrete modular housing system. Due to continued growth we are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to take charge of the daily operations of our Modular Manufacture Yard. You will assume responsibility for production schedules whilst maintaining accepted standards across Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery.

Reporting to the Director, this role will oversee continuous improvement strategies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best business outcomes.

 

A typical day might include running pre-start (toolbox) meetings, inducting team members to site, liaising with suppliers and clients, reviewing and interpreting manufacturing drawings, ordering materials, supporting/directing workers, providing SWMs, operating forklift and working on the tools.

You will:

• Be experienced in manufacturing environment (essential)

• Exposure in Precast Production (desirable)

• Be a natural leader, able to think on your feet and coordinate multiple priorities

• Be organised with an eye for detail to produce results at the highest level of quality

• Have a practical mindset and be able to think on your feet

• Have strong communication skills

• Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch

• Be willing to learn from the team and share your skills 

• Prioritise health & safety
